This depends on the operating system you are using, the revision of the card you have, and the version of the firmware currently installed on your card. If you are running Microsoft Windows then you must upgrade the firmware to the most recent version. If you are running Linux then some previous firmware versions may work, but you are recommended to upgrade to the most recent version.
