Software Release 2 Documentation

Overview

Within this section you will find the documentation that supports software Release 2.51. These documents describe the components of the Base and Developer packages. The Base Package is software such as runtime and libraries which are essential to use the Advance X620 and e620. The Developer Package which includes the SDK is for programmers developing code for the Advance X620 and e620.

The Software Overview document describes all the software components and their dependencies. New features since the last release, key features in the product, issues resolved and any known problems or limitations are described in the release notes.

ClearSpeed CSXL 2.51

CSXL, the ClearSpeed acceleration library, provides accelerated versions of a number of standard math functions for use with the ClearSpeed Advance accelerator cards. The supported routines are a subset of the BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms) and LAPACK (Linear Algebra PACKage) libraries. The BLAS and LAPACK libraries are widely used for solving a variety of linear algebra problems.

The functions directly accelerated by CSXL 2.51 are:

ClearSpeed CSDFT 2.51

The ClearSpeed Discrete Fourier Transform (CSDFT) library consists of two parts; a host library and a library for the CSX600 The host library is called by an application running on the host computer in order to accelerate DFT operations using the Advance accelerator. The Advance accelerator library is designed to be called by code running on the CSX600 itself. The two versions of the library have a common API and a number of functions in common.
